An Elvin baby has gone missing, a killer is on the loose, and lurking in the shadows, secret societies are looking for blood.

The Elder is on campaign and back in the glades of Olian, a great sorrow grips the community: the infant daughter of Higher Durasian Lightfire has suddenly gone missing, and the infamous Old Way falls under immediate suspicion.

Andarken Sourleaf and his shadowa are on the case, but while the Old Way remain faceless, none can be trusted, and murderous sprees have become a thing of beauty.
